The Story Behind Feeling James Webb Space Telescope

Origin

Where our Journey Began

Feeling JWST didn't start with music. It started with a question: what does it mean to witness the birth of the universe?

The James Webb Space Telescope doesn't just observe. He represents the work of more than 10,000 engineers across 14 countries, built over 25 years to create something extraordinary: an eye capable of looking back 13 billion years. Back to the first light. The beginning of everything.

We are Mans and J&NE. Inspired by that journey, we translated this feeling into four musical phases, each representing a chapter of James' story.

Audio

The Sound of James Webb

Space has no sound. But the James Webb Space Telescope does.

The launch. The separation. The unfolding. The drift toward L2. NASA recorded every milestone of James' journey and released it to the world. Throughout all four phases of Feeling JWST, those real audio fragments surface at the moments they belong. Telling the story of James Webb.

About

Who We Are

We are Mans and J&NE, a DJ duo from the Netherlands. Feeling JWST began as a late-night conversation about the James Webb telescope. What would it feel like to be out there, alone, looking back at the beginning of everything? We wanted to answer that question the only way we know how. Through music.
